The Policies listed below have been put in place to help you have the best experience possible. Please read through carefully and if you still have questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to contact us – it would be our pleasure to assist you.
Permanent Makeup & Tattoo Removal
CONSULTATIONS. A valid credit card is required to secure the time slot. If you wish to make changes to your appointment, please provide 48-hour notice to avoid penalties. If adequate notice is not given a $50 fee will be charged on credit card on file.
DEPOSITS. When booking an appointment, we require a $150 deposit to secure the time slot. This is a non-refundable deposit that will go towards your treatment.
RESCHEDULING. You may reschedule this appointment up to 48 hours in advance and use your deposit for your new scheduled time. Appointments may be rescheduled up to two (2) times. If you fail to give adequate notice or are rescheduling after the 2nd time, you will need to put down a new deposit for your future appointment.
If an adequate notice is not given for the control touch-up visit included in the cost of a new procedure, there will a $75 fee for the rescheduled control touch-up appointment.
CANCELLATIONS. Any appointments cancelled less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment will forfeit their deposit payments.
LATE SHOWS. If you are more than 20 minutes late for your appointment, we will have to reschedule you. You will forfeit your deposit and a new deposit will be required to secure your new appointment.
NO-SHOWS. Please notify us if you cannot make your appointment. We reserve a specific amount of time for each service and schedule our clients by appointment only. Reserved appointments that are missed or cancelled without sufficient notice negatively impact our business as we are often unable to fill the vacancy. If you miss your appointment without notice, you will forfeit your deposit. Any future appointments will require a new deposit.
IF YOU HAVE PREVIOUS EYEBROW TATTOO THAT NEEDS CORRECTION OR COVER-UP, you MUST schedule a consultation before booking your appointment. Please email us a photo of your brows with no makeup on in good lighting so that we can assess if you are a good candidate for microblading. If your previous tattoo is very dark you may need to undergo tattoo removal—by laser or saline flush—to lighten them first.
Please note that the touchup rates are valid only for current MAYU BEAUTY clients. If your existing permanent makeup was performed by a different artist, the regular rates apply.
OUR LASH GUARANTEE. We guarantee our work. If you have any concerns with the lash extensions service you received, let us know within 3 days of your visit and we will fix it to your satisfaction at no extra charge.
RESERVATIONS. A valid credit card is required to reserve the time slot and will be charged only in the event you do not cancel/reschedule within 24 hours or fail to show up for your scheduled appointment.
RESCHEDULES / CANCELLATIONS. You may reschedule or cancel this appointment up to 24 hours in advance. If you fail to give adequate notice, you will be charged the full amount (100%) of the service(s) booked.
LATE SHOWS. If you are running late, we appreciate being notified of the delay. In order to respect our clients' schedules, all service visits must end at the scheduled time. If you are more than 20 minutes late for your appointment, we will have to reschedule you and charge a 50% rescheduling fee.
NO-SHOWS. If you miss your appointment without notice, you will be charged the full amount (100%) of the service(s) booked.
ALLERGIES. All eyelash adhesives contain cyanoacrylate. If you are not sure or you think you may have an allergy to our products, please let us know when booking your appointment. A patch test can be administered two days prior to the application of a full set. If you experience an allergy and are unable to wear the eyelash extensions applied, we will remove them free of charge. REFUNDS. We do not offer refunds on services. We do however, offer a guarantee on our eyelash extension services. If you experience an allergy and are unable to wear the eyelash extensions applied, we will remove them free of charge. Please see our Allergies Policy for more details.
CHILDREN & PETS. As much as we love little ones, we kindly request that you make childcare arrangements prior to your visit as the studio is not a suitable environment for children. In accordance with state and health regulations, pets are also not allowed inside the salon under any circumstances. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and relaxing atmosphere for all of our guests.
